Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 12, 2026

Short version: Bitelings doesn't collect your data. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone.

What you enter

Your baby's name, birthdate and photo (if you add one), the foods you log, reactions, notes and allergen progress are stored only on your device, in the app's local database. We (the developer) have no server and cannot see this information.

Backups

If you use iCloud Backup, Apple includes the app's data in your device backup under Apple's privacy policy. A future version may offer optional iCloud sync. That data would sit in your own private iCloud account, which we cannot access.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple. We receive no payment or personal details. The app checks your purchase status on your device using Apple's StoreKit.

Analytics, ads and tracking

None. Bitelings contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking code, and does not track you across apps or websites.

Notifications

Meal and trial reminders are scheduled locally on your iPhone. No push server is involved.

Sharing

Data leaves your device only when you choose to share it, for example by exporting a PDF log through the share sheet.

Deleting your data

In the app: Settings → Delete [baby]'s data. Deleting the app also removes everything stored by it.

Children

Bitelings is used by parents and caregivers. It is not directed at children, and it collects no data from anyone.
